“EYes on Fire, Mind on ice”

Many iterations of this phrase have been touted to performers for as long as I can remember. Essentially, stemming from the metaphoric flame that exists in one’s heart when they are passionate. As a performer that passionate flame should be so evident that others should be able to recognize its presence merely by looking in your eyes. However, passion and flames can both be very consuming entities so it’s important to try to remain grounded and level-headed; hence “…mind on ice”.

It’s this mentality that has driven many successful performance careers and the main building block of why this company now exists.

Many programs already consist of excellent educators, and students; all aware of the demands of the competitive scoresheets and creative vision.

Eyes on Fire Performance strives to provide services that bring out the best in programs and the people that comprise them by going beyond the surface of technicality and exploring shifts in paradigm.

Through impovisation and mindset workshops, movement training and choreography, outside technical training or choreography on equipment, leadership development, outside perspectives on production elements, or even administrative support.

MeagAN HaNono

I am the Owner/Founder of Eyes on Fire Performance.

I started in the performing arts as a dancer at 3 years old and continued for 12 years.

I then pivoted to the marching arts my sophomore year of high school and truly found a home within it. I had the privilege to learn and grow with programs such as Charles W. Flanagan High School, Pegasus Winterguard, Carolina Crown, Phantom Regiment, and Boston Crusaders.

In the midst of performing, I earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management and an International Master’s in Business Administration. Following a few explorative years in and out of the corporate environment, my family, friends, and students inspired to pursue a dream I once though was reckless and unattainable. But, with the incredible network, support system, experience, and work ethic I have now, there’s no doubt in my mind that I can succeed in sharing all that I have with those I have the honor to work with in a manner that benefits all parties.

I am excited to see what the future holds and I am only certain it will be filled with passion.
